Concrete Dress
The Concrete Dress is the first of its kind in the world, and it was made by Synthesis in collaboration with BlackPearl by Sara Lončarić.
It was conceptualized and made in a short time for the young designers' competition Ferrari Fashion in Rome trough a series of experiments with mixtures of fabrics and concrete.
The dress is made as lightweight, durable and fantastically tactile clothing.
Flexible and wearable, this concrete dress is made by spraying a thin layer of specially formulated flexible concrete membrane on a textile.
The developed material is suitable for various applications, from futuristic clothing to unusual pillow covers, it is durable and water resistant.
This experimental material is perfect for exploring the interaction of concrete and other materials, with new and unconventional uses.
